AG|WPJA The Artistic Guild of the WPJA

My wife, Alice, and I have a passion for capturing life's important moments in photos and have photographed hundreds of weddings. I have been honored with awards from the prestigious Wedding Photojournalist Association, the famed Wedding & Portrait Photographers International and the Professional Photographers of America. My work has been published on TheKnot and other regional publications. I have been flown to exotic locations such as the Amalfi Coast of Italy and the island of St. John to shoot weddings. While I also do some commercial work for clients such as MTV and Bacardi, my main love is to capture the emotions, rhythm, and spontaneity of weddings.

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of James Thompson.
