JR is an award-winning photographer and artist specializing in unique, distinctive, inimitable, uncommon, exceptional—like no other wedding and Lifestyle photography.

JR’s images have appeared in National publications such as: Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Modern Bride Chicago, Modern Bride Florida, Modern Bride SoCal, NBC5, USA Today, Chicago Social, Photo Sélection, and TV Guide and featured on several industry leading web sites including: PhaseOne, DxO Image Masters, Lexar, Lowepro, Luminous-Landscape, Virus Photo, and Studio Photography.

To advance the photography industry, JR advises the management of cutting-edge software and camera manufacturers on the development of new digital photography technologies as well as beta-test new software and equipment prior to release. Prior to full-time wedding photography, JR earned an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and completed the Wharton School Multi-national Marketing and Management Program. He also holds an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and is a Professional Engineer. He started his career in finance at General Mills, then worked for IBM and later joined Gemini Consulting, a strategy consulting firm headquartered in Paris.

JR, his wife Alicemarie, and his children, Jacques-Charles, Natalie-Soleil, and Pierre-André, reside in Winnetka.
JR serves the US and Canada out of Chicago’s North Shore and is available for weddings worldwide.
