Eugene first recognized the power of the camera when he tried to go beyond usual boundaries of "stay here, look there, say cheese" photography while shooting his friends, wife and daughter. After photographing his friend's wedding he got completely hooked. Eugene has an MS in computer science and enjoyed working as a software engineer for a long time. But at some point he decided to make an abrupt turn in life. Since 2005 he has been doing on a full time basis what previously was a hobby. Eugene is inspired by great painters especially Monet and Renoir and by numerous contemporary photographers. His second passion is music. From time to time Eugene and his friends get together in a garage and his Les Paul is screaming pretty loud.
