Capturing the events that unfold on a wedding day allows me to really take chances with my photography - each wedding is another opportunity to express myself, and in the process, let each couple be themselves.

I am a member of the ultra-exclusive Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, which accepts less than 5% of the photographers worldwide who apply. I received eight top-10 awards for my images in the 2009 AGWPJA contests, and was named one of the Top Ten Artistic Wedding Photojournalists of the Year for 2009.

Honored as the recipient of First Place in the Photojournalism/Sports Category of the ultra-competitive Prix de la Photographie in Paris in 2008, my editorial work has been for magazines such as Outside, Book, Adventure World, and many others as well as newspapers, websites, and complete catalogs for Moosejaw Mountaineering and other outdoor gear supply shops and outdoor clothing companies.
