Dan Hale has photographed birth, war, and everything in between. His images and multimedia stories have been recognized by the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, National Press Photographers Association, The Associated Press, and the Editor and Publisher Magazine.

Dan received a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Media Studies - Moving Image and Sound Production from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an Associates Degree in Photojournalism from Randolph Community College.

Dan currently lives and works with his wife and best friend Amelia Phillips Hale in Charleston South Carolina.
