Marek Koprowski's adventure with photography began more than 10 years ago when he travelled around Europe. Amongst stunning backdrops from Amsterdam to Barcelona, meeting strange and wonderful people making lifelong friendships helped mould Marek's curiosity and personality. Returning to his native Poland, Marek's joy was overshadowed by not having had anything to document these very informative and impressionable years of his life and he vowed to change this purchasing his very first camera.

Fast forwarding through the years of passionate devotion to photography, Marek soon began to exhibit his photographs in galleries and photographic competitions. His captivating and international award winning images caught the attention of Poland's largest national newspaper - Polska The Times and Marek was subsequently offered a job as a photojournalist. Read More... Being a photojournalist allowed Marek to really understand what he was looking for in his photography - the raw and beautiful power of capturing human emotions. This invariably led to wedding photography which he has been doing continuously for over six years capturing close to 150 weddings in Poland, Italy and Germany. Marek's forte is his ability to capture those natural timeless, and precious moments in a very unique and distinctive way. Love, light and people are a cocktail full of inspiration for Marek when he is behind the lens.

Marek is currently living in Poland, is fluent in English and always willing to travel.

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Marek Koprowski.
