With a BFA in photography and a career as a photojournalist, Rebecca brings an edge and intimacy to her work that you don't find in most photographers. Her work is thoughtful and she possesses an ability to capture the ever elusive "decisive moment".

She is the Society photographer for the Washington Post currently producing and photographing "The Scene". She photographed an environmental portrait column with The Washington Post titled "Life is Short" that ran for eight years. Her work has appeared in numerous pulbications including National Geographic Traveler, NY TImes, Ebony and Imbibe.

She is based in Richmond, VA and has been a professional photographer since 1998, with hundreds of weddings under her belt.

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Rebecca D'Angelo. All my collections come with a high-res disc of images, proof book of images or 4x6 prints, and online viewing and purchase. The basic collection is $2400.00 with 6 hours of coverage. I shoot with a Cannon 5D (love it!) and present you with images in both black and white and color, and some of them I colorize for fun. To lessen the impact on the environment and create personal relationships, I print everything locally.
