I am an undercover photographer, disguised as an engineer. I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, and I got a scientific publication in optics and digital image acquisition. With my technical background, my approach to photography was autodidactal in nature, trying to explore all the different possibilities. The first digital camera I used was one of the first color CCD ever produced, it was so big that I had to design an external water system for cooling, and an external nitrogen blower to avoid condensation. No need to say that it was only for experimental lab use.

I'm surely an enthusiastic photographer. Wedding photography takes only a part of my "photographic life." I like to experiment with different types of reportage, as well as meddling from time to time with more abstract art forms. Read More... I was invited to take part to a photo exhibition in Rome, Italy and Wien, Austria on the theme "Made in Italy", and I was short listed for an art exhibition in Russia on the theme "Ecology".

I came to wedding photography by chance, when my brother in law founded his photographic studio on 2007, I was asked to help in one occasion because of an "emergency". Due to my extensive technical knowledge, shooting at wedding come easy to me, and never stopped after that. I become a principal photographer in 2008.

My personal background is quite mixed. I'm Italian but live in Germany, my wife is half Turkish half American, and my poor 3 year old daughter had to learn 3 languages already. I couldn't imagine myself shooting only weddings, but right now I cannot imagine myself not shooting weddings anymore.

I feel truly lucky with having the possibility to travel to many wonderful locations and meet incredible people, got so amazed and fascinated by all the different stories, different lives and different cultures, that I just try to pay back with my enthusiasm and my artistic view.
