AG|WPJA The Artistic Guild of the WPJA

I never intended to become a professional photographer.

I only wanted to experience the world, learn everything I could, love God and others with all of my heart, and make a difference in people’s lives. But ever since I picked up a camera in my high school photography class, it has become a part of who I am. It has shaped my dreams and the way I see the world.

Now, I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Photojournalism and have since worked for MediaStorm, The Muskegon Chronicle, The Syracuse Post-Standard, and Every Child Ministries. My time is split between two worlds: being a wedding/portrait photographer and being a freelance photojournalist.

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Megan Gielow. The following awards have been earned by Megan from the AG|WPJA. These achievements come with great merit considering the high level of competition that a member faces in the contests.
