AGWPJA Q1 2009 CONTEST CATEGORIES
GETTING READY
Entries which spontaneously capture the prepping, grooming, arranging, outfitting, and anticipation before the ceremony.
CEREMONY
Images that capture guests and participants throughout pre-ceremony, vow-exchange, and receiving line activity.
RECEPTION
Photographs that document festivities from the cocktail hour through the last dance and departure.
WEDDING DAY OR ENGAGEMENT PORTRAIT *
Photographs that demonstrate the photographer's ability to create an interesting and artistic environmental portrait of the bride and groom taken either
on the wedding day itself or from an engagement portrait session that took place prior to the wedding day. Candid moments are not eligible for this
category. NOTE: This is the only category where non-wedding day images are allowed. Though this category may resemble traditional portraiture for some,
the key here is to be creative with your subjects.

AGWPJA Q1 2009 CONTEST JUDGING
Seth Resnick is one of the most prolific corporate, editorial and stock photographers in
North America. Seth is greatly in demand for his beautiful graphic images in both natural and created light. Resnick has been published in the world's most prestigious
magazines. His credits include over 2500 publications worldwide and his clients constitute a virtual list of Corporate America.
He is co-founder of D-65, an organization teaching digital workflow workshops. Resnick is at the
forefront of digital innovation working with Adobe, Canon, Xrite, Epson and others to help them formulate more useful products for photographers. He is a member of the
prestigious Canon Explorer of Light program as well as an Alpha/Beta and feature consultant for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
