Judges Comment: The colors are pleasing in this image.

Judges Comment: This is a picture that we have all seen 1000 times but I like the fact that the photographer went the extra mile to make it stand out. The toning, textured edges and selective focus make you want to keep looking at this image.

Judges Comment: I enjoyed the vibrant colors and the nice exposure. The warm tones keep this image romantic.

Judges Comment: You captured a great moment and the toning works well to complement the mood.

Judges Comment: The content of this image is not the strongest in the competition but it really jumped out from all the rest. The 4x5 presentation, the textures and the toning really took a madiocre image to the next level.

Judges Comment: This is a great moment to start with. However the simplicity of the colors, a splash of blue set against the black contrast the warm yellowish tone, make this image sing.

Judges Comment: This reminds me of a vintage art print. The only thing that in my opinion would have improve it, is to clone out the smaller round spot of flare. I would have prefered a bit more contrast too. However, I still really love the feel of this!

Judges Comment: Flat sepia toning on a very high-contrast image really works well in this image.
