Judges Comment: This image masterfully entices all of my senses! The transition from burnt orange to pink then to black around the edges, keeps me "in" this image. Well done!
Judges Comment: This image is fresh, captures a sweet moment and has the look and feel of aged-film. Superb!
Judges Comment: I love the energy in this image! In addition to capturing a great moment, the photographer was clearly thinking about integrating the location in to this image. Judging by the tonality of the sky, I would have love to seen this image in color.
Judges Comment: This photographer was clearly thinking outside of the box. The focused use of artificial light gives the image mood and attitude. Bravo!
Judges Comment: Wonderful composition and a great exposure! The misty blue makes a nice contrast with the candlelight. The image needs a tad more contrast and a saturation boost.
Judges Comment: A great point of entry, unique camera angle and wonderful toning round this image out. Add a little motion or movement with the bride and groom and the image would have been a zinger!
Judges Comment: Four guys and a gal, superbly done! Great composition and wonderful image treatment. My only suggestion would be to crop off the street and curb up to the line below the walking person's feet. Tight is right:)
Judges Comment: What a great feel! I love the hue of the sky, the light catching the veil and the texture of the dress. Other than being too centered, the image is beautiful!
Judges Comment: This image is strikingly clean, an instant classic. Nice work!
Judges Comment: This really fun image reminds of Philip Halsman's "Jump," book. The image feels a little unbalanced and the black strip at the bottom of the frame is distracting.
