Ceremony: Images that capture guests and participants throughout pre-ceremony, vow-exchange, and receiving line activity.
Judges Comment: OUTSTANDING image. The design, angle and composition are as good as it gets. The oval, the rail with the white, the reflected chandalier are all just awesome. This is a great image. About the only thing I could suggest at all would be to possibly tone down the dress just a hair to give more detail and clone out the tiny little black spots on the concrete squares. There are two in the lower center area. Regardless, this is still a really great image.
Judges Comment: WOW again. This could be an architecture shot as easily as a wedding ceremony shot. Beautiful lines and form and great light and I love the low angle with the foreground. About the only thing I could suggest at all would be to clean up the vignetting in the top corners but again, this is a fantastic image.
Judges Comment: Another really well done ceremony image, this time a fabulous detail type shot. The composition, angle, texture and the color of the red against the white really make this image standout.
Judges Comment: Again, a super strong image. Great gesture, nice design and tone and I love the old wooden steps. Compositionally, I would have liked to have seen the bride in this image and I probably would have cleaned up the top left corner but still a really nice image.
Judges Comment: Love the light and the composition and, in this case, the vignetting at the top helps. May have toned down the white dress just a tad to get a bit more detail but again, another really nice image.
Judges Comment: Beautiful image with fantastic light. Photoshop wise, this image is very well done and the only thing I would have done is remove the little black arch by the rail in the back right behind the dress.
Judges Comment: Very nice composition and color. Well done. The only thing that bothers me here is that the horizon line needs a bit of correction as it is askew a little bit.
Judges Comment: I love the bride behind the curtain and love that part of the groom is open. The sepia quality is very nice here. I would have cleaned up the specular highlight in the top right and may have cropped in just a bit from the right but still another very strong image.
Judges Comment: Great light and the high contrast really helps here. The two girls are adorable and this is yet another really nice image. Well done.
Judges Comment: The petals on the ground and the four feet were handled really well. A great little detail shot from the ceremony.
Judges Comment: This image is all about the bride. The look on her face is fabulous. I am bothered by the Chuppa protruding out of her head and I am not sure the warm tones help this image but still a nice job.
Judges Comment: I love the makeup smeared on this guy’s face and the angle is very nice. The object in the top right is distracting and I wish it wasn't there.
Judges Comment: Great light and shadow and a really nice angle. The shadows are clipped a bit too much and the horizon line would benefit from a little straightening but still a very nice image.
Judges Comment: Very nicely done. I wish the petals were red instead of white but we can't have everything... Technically, I would have eliminated the vignetting or made it more even using a gradient to drop the sky instead of a vignette.
Judges Comment: The fisheye works pretty well here but I think the image is improved with a tighter crop, eliminating the left and right side.
Judges Comment: The bride’s eyes, expression and hands say it all and it is a really nice shot. I like the tone but I am not thrilled with the textured filter, especially across the gentleman's coat and the upper right hand corner. It works well on the left side of the frame but not so great on the right side.
Judges Comment: Great color and gesture.
Judges Comment: Really nice light and great gesture. A hair more detail, especially in her bouquet, would have helped this.
Judges Comment: Very nice angle, hard to pull off, and framed very well. The toning is especially well done.
Judges Comment: Nice angle and nice handling of the color. I am bothered by the foreground with the askew angle and the flair. This could have easily been cropped out and the image would have been stronger and probably ranked higher.
