Judges Comment: The toddler with the bottle and the bride attending to him and to the gentleman is really a fantastic moment. The color palette of white also helps tie everything together. The lack of eye contact is another positive here. If the toddler were looking at the photographer the entire scene would be changed. I do wish that the horizon line was straight and I wish that the dark fabric next to the child was either retouched lighter or removed.

Judges Comment: I kept coming back to this image and liked it more and more each time I looked at it. It is unusual to have this much "white space" and an angle like this and still have the picture work so well. The image is so simple and yet really elegant. I love the hands of the woman in combination with the hands of the hair being done.

Judges Comment: This image is executed really well. It would have been easy for this to become way too cluttered but the photographer really makes it work with the lighting, color and tone which ties all of the elements together. My eye is drawn right to the woman putting on the makeup and then it wanders around the rest of the elements.

Judges Comment: Simple, clean and graphic. These big eyes looking up are great. The only thing I could suggest here would be to tone down the hot spot on the right side but otherwise it is a really strong image.

Judges Comment: Another peak into two rooms. The practice of the dancing on the right is excellent. I wish that there was more going on in the left side. The two rooms give this a sense of intimacy which is very nice but the lack of a real moment on the left side hurts this a bit. I assume that the photographer chose this color balance on purpose. Personally I would like to see the mid-tones pumped up a bit and have a whiter white on the walls but it is still a nice image.

Judges Comment: I wish there was a little more detail in the lamp but the color and composition still make this image a winner. This is another example of a really simple image which just works.

Judges Comment: This image is all about gesture. It is a terrific image with great energy. The slight movement in the veil is a nice touch and the gesture on the woman in the front is also a nice touch.

Judges Comment: A very nice moment and the red in the dress works well with the muted background. My only issue with this image is the vignetting. I realize it is personal and if the photographer added it that is a personal choice. I do hope that it wasn't simply there from a poor wide angle lens. If that is the case it can easily be removed in Lightroom. Personally I would have removed the vignetting and cropped in from the right a little bit.

Judges Comment: Strong color and a really neat angle make this a very unique and interesting image.

Judges Comment: A humorous moment captured. Although the tone of the image is nice, I do feel that adjusting mid tone contrast or clarity and pumping up exposure a hair would make this image pop a little more.

Judges Comment: Another humorous moment. Seated on the floor is great but I wish the photographer had cropped down from the top. The ceiling and light are not needed and add elements that compete with subject. The image is much stronger with the crop.

Judges Comment: Really fantastic gesture in this triplicate mirror view. The toned whites work well with the dark black hair and muted red lipstick. Nice job.

Judges Comment: The reds are almost electric and really help draw attention to the bride. The toning is nicely done. I wish that there was a hair less green in the image. I think the dress would pop more if it were a brighter white but still a very nice image.

Judges Comment: Tone, contrast and color really make this image work. The light on the woman's face with the glass is striking and the glass adds a nice touch.

Judges Comment: Nice light, color and sense of texture along with the gesture from the veil all work well together.

Judges Comment: The tear through the veil is very nice and the toning was handled well emphasizing a soft intimate feeling.

Judges Comment: I really like the the strong reds against the almost grayscale background and especially love the little bit of color showing in the mirror.

Judges Comment: Good gesture and nice toning in this peek inside the doorway. I would suggest cropping up from the bottom as I find the foreground a bit distracting.

Judges Comment: I really like this view from the back. The black top hat and the white dress against the pronounced clouds all work very well together creating drama in the process.

Judges Comment: A humorous scene with good gesture aided by very strong saturated color and contrast on a rainy day.
