Bruce Moyer is the Deputy Director of Photography at the St. Petersburg Times in St. Petersburg, FL. He came to the Times in 2006 from the Hartford Courant, where he had been a picture editor for 8 years. Moyer has won numerous awards in the annual Pictures of the Year International Competition, NPPA Best of Photojournalism and Society of News Design contests. He was part of a team of picture editors and photographers at the Courant that won the Angus McDougall Overall Excellence in Editing Award in the Pictures of the Year International Competition for three consecutive years, something no other paper has done.
