Judges Comment: There are many elements that make this a true winner and compelling image. First, the toning works perfectly. I see many images that are manipulated because they require manipulation and not because the manipulation enhances the image. This is a perfect example of an image that is truly a much better image with the toning. The color of the dress is a perfect compliment to the toning which I like very much. The composition is strong as is the gesture created by the three hands and I love the crop on the bride's head and the smile on her face. Really nice job. Well done.

Judges Comment: The image is very strong with the focus on the flowers and the subject out of focus. The toning works well here but the real strength is the composition which truly makes this a winner.

Judges Comment: This is an image that is all about gesture. The hand on the tummy says it all and I love that you only see the face in the mirror. A nice job with the toning as well. I think the image is even stronger without the right arm hanging in the front.

Judges Comment: Strong composition and I love the crop. The white on white offset with just a touch of color in the skin tones also helps to make this a winner.

Judges Comment: Very strong graphic appeal with both the reflection and the high contrast. Good detail maintained in the dress and the bride's face while the rest of the image is rich in the blacks.

Judges Comment: The composition created with all the hands and the crop just above the big smile really makes this a very strong image. Simple, clean and nice emotion. Well done.

Judges Comment: Sharp focus on the flowers on the handrail, and the soft focus on the bride works well here. Nice tonal range throughout the image with good detail in the blacks and the whites.

Judges Comment: The bottle of Johnny Walker and the cigarette are a nice touch and help the composition. I love the foot under the dress as well.

Judges Comment: Nice emotion between the daughter and the parents. The toning is nice but could use a bit more detail especially on the right side. The crop on the father's head is a bit awkward. The image might be a bit stronger if the right and left side was cropped which would draw more attention to the subjects.

Judges Comment: This is a very different type of image and I like the effect a lot. It has a fine art appeal. The heavy grain helps the image. The image would be stronger if there was a bit less shake evident in the person with the cigarette, but still a nice image.

Judges Comment: Nice graphic image with strong backlight. Wish that there was a bit more detail in the whites but still a nice image overall.

Judges Comment: Nice light and nice tone help to create a graphic image of what appears to be feathers.

Judges Comment: Really nice composition and very interesting light. I wish that there was better tone in the water especially on the right side which is a little flat.

Judges Comment: Nice graphic image with good light. I am not sure that burning in all four corners adds to the image.

Judges Comment: I like the dark toning in this image a lot. The composition is strong and helps set a nice ambiance.

Judges Comment: Good tonal range throughout the image in this HDR rendering. The composition is clean with a nice moment captured.

Judges Comment: I like the black and white toned look with the color on the cumberbun which is the pertinent part of the image.

Judges Comment: The soft quality and shades of white are a nice touch. Composition and cropping are nice too.
