Judges Comment: The juxtaposition with John Wayne is a really nice touch and the image works very well.

Judges Comment: Strong composition and framing. Interesting contrasts of expressions between the confidence of John Wayne and the nervous look of the groom.

Judges Comment: This picture is beautiful. I love the composition, the toning complements the image well. The young woman is well-placed in the frame. I think the photo is just simply elegant.

Judges Comment: I am always happy to see true moments, and this picture celebrates a true quiet moment. The toning supports the soft, quiet feel of the image. The only small flaw I saw here was I wish the card was not touching the boys head.

Judges Comment: Strong graphic and clean design. Love both sets of hands applying the finishing touches. Would suggest straightening the vertical line on the right side.

Judges Comment: I really enjoyed the dreamy quality of this picture. It was a shot that I kept coming back to over and over. I think it celebrates the spirit of this particular contest as well – it is artistic, abstract, but yet communicates a nice mood for the day.

Judges Comment: I love the concept and the veil on the head is the clincher. Without the veil this image wouldn't work but with it the image becomes a true winner. The mood and tone of the image are also a compliment. Well done.

Judges Comment: This was just a nice moment, and a little more of a rarity than some of the other pictures. I see less images that capture the groom’s family getting ready, so this was a refreshing angle and a nicely composed moment. The tones of the picture actually reflect the color palate on the woman’s dress - nice touch.

Judges Comment: Clean graphic design with great gesture. The tone and balance of red and white also work to make this a really strong image.

Judges Comment: I really liked how the light intercepted the kiss here. The color palate is nice. I like how the woman is holding the little boy’s hands. My one criticism is that the drawer is a little distracting, I would crop it out.

Judges Comment: Well executed. I love the foot on the left side of the image leading the viewer towards the mirror. Nice job.
