Judges Comment: To me, serendipity matters. I am struck by the look of the woman on the train! I think she makes this portrait. The photographer also created a strong crop and an excellent color palate. Awesome.

Judges Comment: This picture screams at me. I think it is obnoxious and funny and will keep in my memory for awhile. Humor gets points! The photographer also knew how to tone for the moment as well – the two complement each other very well in this picture.

Judges Comment: Love the infra red effect and the motion with the swirling of the dress. Nice job.

Judges Comment: Strong mood, style, textures, and composition.

Judges Comment: If it is done well, I like a bride and groom juxtaposed to a nonparticipating surrounding /audience. This was the best of the entries that attempted this, with exception of the lady on the train (2nd Place in this category). It has a nice moment with the groom and bride, and really works well in black and white.

Judges Comment: The fisheye lens works very well here. Nice detail and good design.

Judges Comment: Love the juxtaposition of the images on the phones and I like the mix of black and white and color.
