Judges Comment: Strong composition and great color.

Judges Comment: The photographer capitalized on a great scene and placed themselves in the right place at the right time. I like that the photo captures the whole story in one shot AND is toned in a pleasing and vibrant style. This is a great gift for the bride to have this picture. Well done on post production.

Judges Comment: I see this image done over and over again but this time it really works. All the elements come together to create a strong composition.

Judges Comment: Everything just came together in this picture. The hair is in the right place, the composition is great and the lighting is fun. This picture has a lot of energy, not only from the subjects, but what the photographer put into it. A little luck with “good hair” didn’t hurt!

Judges Comment: Just a really nice, subtle moment caught by the photographer. I liked the composition and the lighting. But mostly I liked that the photographer was looking for moments around the bride and groom, these can be hard to capture, and the photographer did a nice job.

Judges Comment: This was one of the more unique photos I have seen from a reception because the photographer captured the “toss” from the right distance in the right light. I wish it had been toned a little richer – that might have placed it higher. But a very unique shot and worth being rated high.

Judges Comment: Not sure what’s going on here (or if I want to know) but it’s a great expression.

Judges Comment: A beautiful, quiet moment with the bride. I love the mood created in this picture from the lighting and the composition, but the expression of the bride is what really made this picture a choice for me.
